Teacher's usage
After considering what my subject department uses, I wanted to have a look at what ICT's are used by other teachers, which subjects seem to incorporate the most ICT's and how effective I think it is. I found that many teachers face obstacles to using ICT's be it because of their own perceptions, inabilities or more simply, time constraints or a lack of resources. At the school where I was it was the Science and Business study teachers which were mostly using ICT's, I found that they would use Edmodo to communicate with the learners and used several different types of online tools in their teaching. I found this to be quite effective as they managed to flip the classroom, and use both learning activities and assessment activities by using ICT's.
